We are pleased to announce the Second Annual New South Charity Classic Golf Tournament benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Our tournament will be held Monday, October 20th at the Sedgefield Country Club located in Greensboro, NC (www.sedgefieldcc.org). This course is different from where we held last year's tournament in Greensboro.Sedgefield's famous Donald Ross course reopened last September following a major 10 month, $3 million restoration project which has transformed the golf course back to how Donald Ross intended the course to play, while taking into consideration the changes in golf technology and turf grass development over the last 50 years. The restoration of their Donald Ross 1926 classic design has positioned Sedgefield Country Club as one of the premier private country clubs in America. A PGA event will be held at Sedgefield this August after a 31 year absence. The Wyndham Championship is set to return to this historic course where golfers such as Sam Snead and Ben Hogan first competed seven decades ago. We will be playing the same course as PGA tour pros.
Last year's tournament was a great success and we hope you will be a part of making this year's tournament even better. We will be including all the contests, prizes, and awards that we had last year, including the popular "Beat the Pro's".
